Florin Tudor is a professor (PhD) and the Director of the Cross-Border Institute for International Studies and Criminal Justice at the "Dunărea de Jos" University in Galați. The Institute pursues a general mission of fundamental scientific research and knowledge transfer to society, as well as the valorisation and dissemination of the results obtained. He held the positions of scientific secretary, department director, and dean of the Faculty of Law and Administrative Sciences during the period 2012-2020, specialising in international fiscal and commercial law, international economic relations, and administrative sciences, with a focus on cross-border educational projects. He coordinated scientific, cultural and cross-border projects in the country and abroad in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Romanian Cultural Institute, and the Romanian Academy. Florin Tudor is the director of the Danube Cooperation Forum.
