Galați Security Forum
The forum's format is restricted and professional, with participation limited to approximately 50 people by invitation only.
The event is structured in four thematic panels, each lasting 75 minutes, designed to encourage consistent interventions, free debates and direct interactions between guests. An expert will moderate each panel, and the discussions will integrate institutional perspectives, academic analyses, and sectoral viewpoints.
The forum is also associated with a synthesis roundtable, at the end, which will facilitate the formulation of strategic recommendations and conclusions on topics of significant interest: the reconstruction of Ukraine, regional cooperation in the Danube, Black Sea and Balkan areas, European strategic autonomy, the security of critical infrastructures and democratic resilience.
The main organizational objective is to create a structured and at the same time informal dialogue space, which will allow the articulation of common positions between key actors from interconnected sectors: security, diplomacy, economy, energy, development, digitalization and civil society.
The results of the forum will be centralized in a synthetic report and will be capitalized on in future public policy initiatives, regional partnerships and applied research projects.
