Mr Radu Gheorghe ANTOHE holds a PhD in both Veterinary Medical Sciences and Economic Sciences. He is a University Lecturer at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), within the Faculty of Agri-Food and Environmental Economics. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Department of Food Safety and Security on behalf of the College of Veterinary Doctors of Romania.
Mr. Antohe began his career with the Swiss company Novartis Animal Health. He has served as President of the College of Veterinary Doctors and as co-organiser of the Agraria Cluj and Agriplanta Călărași livestock exhibitions. He has also worked as an agriculture and rural development consultant at the Embassy of the State of Israel in Romania, as well as an agricultural policy and animal welfare expert. In 2024, he completed the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in Washington, D.C.
