Radu Magdin is a global analyst, consultant, trainer, and think tanker. He is the CEO of Smartlink Communications, a consultancy company with global outreach. He worked as Honorary Adviser to the Prime Minister of Romania (2014–2015) and Strategic Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova (2016–2017).

He currently serves as Vice President of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, a Member of the Forbes Business Council, a Correspondent for MEDEF International, an Ambassador of CONAF Romania, and an Honorary Adviser for External Relations of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Radu is also a yearly co-trainer in the “Liberalism vs Populism” Academy organised by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. He has been recognised as a NATO Emerging Leader (Atlantic Council, 2014), Forbes Romania Trendsetter (2014), and Warsaw Security Summit Leader (2015).

He holds a PhD in resilience to Russian information operations. Between 2019 and 2022, he taught at SNSPA, delivering courses on great power competition and its impact on strategic communication and global actors.
